Urban Decay Naked Palette: Haul, Review, Photos and Swatches

Hey everyone!

Sorry there's been a lack of posts and videos recently, been really busy, but I only have 4 days left of school before the summer holidays so hopefully I'll be getting lots done then :)

So when I went to see the last Harry Potter film on Friday (which was incredible, by the way!) I swung by my nearest House of Fraser and picked up the Urban Decay Naked Palette which I have wanted since it first came out! I am sooo excited and couldn't wait to review/haul/swatch it for you so I decided to combine everything into this post.

I bought it for £32 which is really good value as that would make each eyeshadow roughly £2.70, and that's a bargain for their amazing quality! The newer edition comes with an eyeshadow brush and mini Primer Potion instead of their duo eyeliner in Zero/Bourbon. I think this is better because it means you can do your eyeshadow on the go.

Virgin, Sin, Naked, Sidecar
 Buck, Half Baked, Smog, Darkhorse
 Toasted, Hustle Creep, Gunmetal
 Virgin, Sin, Naked, Sidecar
Buck, Half Baked, Smog, Darkhorse
Toasted, Hustle, Creep, Gunmetal

Good points:
Nice, sleek packaging - good for travel
Beautiful, versatile, pigmented colours
Brush and Primer Potion included
Great value
Magnetic lid

Bad points:
No slot for Primer Potion in palette
Only 2 matte colours (but I prefer shimmery, so it's a matter of opinion)
Hard to find - out of stock a lot

E.L.F Studio High Definition Powder Review

Hey guys!

So I have a little review for ya and it's the HD setting powder I got from E.L.F about a week ago. It was £6 but I got it in the 20% off sale. I've been wearing it every day and here is my conclusion.

So as you can see, the packaging isn't very practical and can get quite messy. I forgot to photograph and review the powder puff that it comes with, I don't like to use powder puffs as they aren't hygienic as they will be touching your face then back to the product over and over and you can't really clean them. But I've heard that the powder puff will stop the product from falling everywhere, so that's your decision :)

Good Points:
Leaves healthy matte finish
Doesn't show up white or chalky on skin
Good value
Comes with a sifter
Good customer service on website

Bad Points:
Container too big for product
Packaging doesn't contain product well, lot's of mess
Powder puff on top of product

Overall I would definitely recommend this powder, it's so inexpensive and is a must have in my makeup collection for setting face products. You can purchase it from www.eyeslipsface.co.uk or www.eyeslipsface.com depending on where you live :)

So a few weeks ago, I ordered 10 loose eyeshadow samples from Simply Kendra Cosmetics. The colours I ordered were:
Sunday School, Miss Peaches, Naughty librarian, Senorita, Razzatazz, Jen-Jen, Jealous Jill, Mona Mona, Starry Night & Giggles McGee
Along with my order, I got a note from Kendra that said 'Tamsin, thank you for your order, I hope you enjoy your samples. Xox Kendra' and 3 free samples which was really lovely of her. The ones I got free were: Angel Baby, Cherry Kola & Conspiracy Theory

Cherry Kola, Miss Peaches, Sunday School
Giggles McGee, Mona-Mona, Angel Baby, Conspiracy Theory, Starry Night
Naughty Librarian, Jealous Jill, Jen-Jen, Razzatazz, Senorita

Good Points:
Good pigmentation
Comes in sample or regular size
Cheap
Ships internationally
Good customer service

Bad Points:
Sample bag is inconvenient (not much can be done about that)
Only available at her online store

My favourites:
Senorita, Starry Night, Razzatazz

I would definately recommend everyone checking these out, even if it's just a few samples, they wont disappoint. Each sample is $1 and shipping to the UK is $5. I hope this was helpful, click here to see the video review on our channel, please subcribe and follow this blog :D

Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation review

Hi everyone :)

Today I have a review for you and it's for the Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation. I picked this up last week from Boots for £6.99 (£3 off, usually £9.99) and have been wearing it everyday and I love it. My shade is 51 - Light Vanilla which is the lightest shade, it comes in a plastic bottle containing 30ml/1 fl oz and has special fruit extracts to benefit the skin.
Apricot - Radiance, Melon - Hydration, Apple - Anti-oxidants, Ginger - Energy

Good points:
Smells nice and fruity
Medium coverage, buildable
Gives dewy, natural finish
Lightweight, durable packaging
Pump dispenser

Bad points:
Small shade range
Less than 16 hour wear claim
